A lovely craft coffee roastery and cafe located in Canton. It's located in a baby blue house converted into a coffee shop. On a rainy day, we decided to finally try this place out. What's intriguing is, they roast, package, and brew coffee in this location. They also have fresh pastries. They give back to those in need and make sure farmers are given a fair wage. There were ample parking when we went and the cafe was very cozy. I had their lavender latte with almond milk; this was so creamy and delicious. I can taste the quality in this coffee. My husband had their cold brew and he's a cold brew connoisseur; he said it was one of the best he's had. Overall, a great spot to get your caffeine fix in.

The owners are amazing people! The coffee is ethically sourced, and Giv really puts a genuine effort into its relationship with coffee farmers. Donating 1 from every bag sold is such a great way to support nonprofits around the world. The employees who cook/bake really put a lot of effort into what they're doing too. I served Freedom and Azahar Decaf at my wedding (highly recommend ordering ground Giv Coffee for any event) and guests could absolutely tell the difference between Giv and gross brands.

For what it is, five stars. Their Belgian Waffles could definitely be addictive - not your usual mixed-batter-poured-and-pressed into an electric waffle maker. These are so amazing in texture and taste they don't need anything on them. No syrup, no butter, no powdered sugar or chopped fruit. These would be found somewhere like Austria, where all baked goods are taken to the highest level. We brought two home, and the third opinion had equal praise and pleasant surprise. One is enough for a serving. The coffee is also boutique and the beans are roasted right on the premises in a separate building behind the cafe. It's sold in a variety of ways like lattes and cappuccino as in most coffee stores. My latte was perfect. My partner thought his caffe mocha had more chocolate than coffee but still enjoyed the quality of the chocolate in his drink along with his waffle. Bags of coffee beans can also be purchased with the Giv Coffee label, from espresso to decaf, dark roast to their version of a breakfast or house blend, plus a half dozen or so in between. We learned we were drinking the "Esperanza Caturra" being featured that day and bought a bag. Drinks other than coffee are on hand, as are logo t-shirts and local farm honey. There are pastries and an egg sandwich as food options. When I inquired about two lunch sandwiches I saw online in a menu photo, staff said they did used to have the turkey pesto panini pre-COVID, (and a grilled cheese), but they haven't brought them back yet. They should since they're open until 3PM, and customers might want something more lunch like in the afternoon. I love the French music that streams through the cafe. Soothing and sophisticated. Giv Coffee started in 2011 roasting 80 pounds of coffee in a garage and donated their profits to an orphanage in Nicaragua. Now having grown into their own retail spot and bean roasting building, they still donate part of their proceeds to charity. Giv Coffee is the best coffee shop in CT. Their Lavender latte is the best I’ve ever had. So rich and creamy. And the Mexican Latte is a fun spicy treat. I usually steal sips from my wife’s because it’s so good. Plus, don’t sleep on the baked goods. The more I go here the more I realize they are all fantastic. The scones are some of the best and my favorite go-to baked good is the pumpkin chocolate chip cookie. It’s so light and fluffy. Yum!

I LOVE Giv Coffee. My partners family lives in Canton and I make it a point to come here multiple times each time I visit. The coffee is consistently excellent. Their milk is organic and local, the maple syrup and honey is delicious and tastes natural. I used to roast coffee and having a relationship with the farm is such a special part of the supply chain, you can taste so much of the earth in their delicious coffee. Definitely make it a point to stop here.

Excellent coffee find in Canton. The cappuccino was expensive but incredibly good. The store layout is very cool as is the ambiance. The staff is friendly and very efficient. Plenty of parking in the rear of the building.

Giv is THE BEST! Love their speciality seasonal coffees but also their classic cold brew really just hits the spot. Try it with a shot of espresso next time you need an energy boost and I promise you won’t be disappointed.
